Christmas Joy

When the snow begins to fall
And the cold wind starts to blow,
We recall the joy that came for us
That day so long ago
Christmas joy, Christmas joy,
Oh, God has sent the Savior to be our Christmas joy.

In a stable rude and bare,
In a city dark and cold,
A little spark of joy blazed forth
As prophets had foretold.

Christmas joy, Christmas joy
Born of a virgin pure and mild, Lord Jesus, Christmas joy.

When we trim the tree with lights
And our presents gladly give.

We thank the child who came to give
His life that we might live.

Christmas joy, Christmas joy,
Oh, God has sent His only Son, Lord Jesus, Christmas joy.

If you love a little girl,
If you love a little boy,
Then take those children in your arms
And share your Christmas joy.

Christmas joy, Christmas joy;
Lord Jesus who loves children too is now our Christmas joy.

Christmas joy, Christmas joy!
Oh, share His love with everyone, and you’ll have Christmas joy.
