Wonderful Choices
The green leaves of summer
For some mark the time
When life is so rich
And nearest sublime.
The autumn’s vast glory
Touches the heart,
In closing the season,
Displays nature’s art.
The winter is crystal
with castles of snow
And brisk, merry fun
And cozy, warm homes.
But spring hides her newness
In each bush and tree,
And amidst bare, brown branches,
Life creeps up on me.
