Paradox

No, you see, it’s not two physicians
As in Drs. Brown and Smith,
But a curious slant on truths of life
That we are dealing with,
As, what we grip tenaciously
Will likely slip away,
But what we enjoy with freedom
May simply choose to stay.

Or, what’s disliked in someone else
May be a mirror of me.

When I choose to accept them,
We both become more free.

So, things I love are just left free,
Not held by chains or locks,
Life freely given for some good,
Not guarded in a box.

These ways of life examples of
The thing called paradox.
